Check with your local car parts shop. These are used in hatchbacks, rear
windows, etc. and it should be fairly easy to find a substitute.

Take the side that is working (prop up the lid with a 2X4) and you
should be able to find all the fittings, etc.

I was successful doing that a number of years ago.

As far as I know if they are the same length, then they are the same
strength - but I could be very wrong, be sure to ask someone who knows
about gas struts!

Hi John,

I can sort you out with that, just to confirm are we talking right-han
side looking at the front of the jukebox?

The transportation costs these days to New Zealand will be more than th
costs of the parts.

Regards
Alan

I have located and purchased a used strut and brackets from the US (from a regular jukebox parts seller). Thanks to all! :)

I take it the car strut suggestion didn't work out for you...

Great idea, John, but I required specific brackets, and I got a set of title pages as well. Cheers! :)
