Can an external sound source like an mp3 player be connected to the NSM Performer Grand via the mike or TB DIN inputs on the central unit? Anyone know how to pin out an RCA stereo cable to the 5 pin mike terminal, or the 8 pin tape player socket? According to the manual the tape player terminal can be used to either record or play music. I do know there is an mp3 conversion kit available, but I want to keep the CD changer. Thanks.

I dug through the manual, and figured out the pinout between the TB socket and RCA plugs - pins 3 and 5 are left and right signals, pin 8 is ground. Pin 6 needs to be shorted to ground to switch between the CD and TB signals.

Thanks for posting that info. Someone may find it useful!
